About the Royal Canadian Air Cadets

The Royal Canadian Air Cadet Program is a federally-funded youth program, delivered in partnership with the Air Cadet League of Canada that develops skills to help youth transition into adulthood, from developing self-confidence, leadership, teamwork and good citizenship with a focus on maintaining a healthy active lifestyle and Canadian military familiarization

At 18 Dartmouth Lions we do this through peer-led activities focused survival training, marksmanship, aviation and aerospace – including gliding and learning how to fly! Our cadets are supervised by a fully-screened, blended team of Canadian Armed Forces members, civilian Instructors, and other community volunteers.
